Day #1 - Sarajevo
Welcome to Sarajevo! Meet your driver upon your arrival at the airport and transfer to your hotel to check in and relax after your journey. Check into your hotel and relax. You may want to acquaint yourself with the city. Take a stroll from the hotel along the Miljacka River. Pay attention to the variety of architectural styles, from modern skyrise buildings to Austro-Hungarian grandeur, to the Ottoman-era shops and restaurants nestled in the old quarter known as Baščaršija. Evening at leisure, overnight in Sarajevo!
Day #2 - Sarajevo
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a private half-day tour of Sarajevo, which is sometimes called the “Jerusalem of Europe”. It is one of only a few European cities to have a mosque, Catholic church, Orthodox church, and synagogue within the same neighborhood. Your walking tour begins with the city’s main attractions, including Baščaršija, the old bazaar quarter, and City Hall (Vijećnica)—a site completely renovated after being destroyed in the 1992 Bosnian War. You’ll have a chance to treat your tastebuds to a cup of traditional Bosnian coffee and taste some of the Bosnian traditional specialties! Enjoy your free time!
Day #3 - Sarajevo – Mostar – Kravice - Dubrovnik
Breakfast at hotel and check out. Meet your driver in the hotel lobby and say goodbye to beautiful Sarajevo. We will continue our journey to Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls before heading to Croatia. Our first stop will be charming Mostar, known as the city, where “east meets west”, and the Old Bridge which stands as a symbol of the town’s turbulent past. After the tour, enjoy having a lunch in Mostar and a visit to local winemaker, where they make wine from the indigenous varieties of Zilavka and Blatina. We then travel to the Kravice Waterfalls, one of Europe’s best kept natural secrets. This natural phenomenon provides a cool refuge for rejuvenation and the ideal ending to your day exploring the best that Bosnia and Herzegovina have to offer.
Day #4 - Dubrovnik
Meet your private English-speaking local guide at your hotel. Discover Dubrovnik and take in all the main sights. Explore the architecture and history of this famous city accompanied by your experienced guide, the story of Dubrovnik’s golden age will unfold before your eyes. The route takes you around the Old Town via Onofrio’s Fountain and up Prijeko Street to the Old Port – the key to Dubrovnik’s trading and maritime success.
Day #5 - Dubrovnik - Konavle
Meeting with your driver for a half day private cooking class in Konavle area with a traditional meal and wine tasting. Arrival and welcome drink at the family estate. Ride the bicycles to the nearby family vineyard (20 minutes easy ride) where you’ll enjoy a presentation (story about Dubrovnik Malvasia and Konavle region), visit vineyard, taste four types of wine with cheese/ham, and aromatic wine. Learn how to prepare homemade food the same way as our ancestors did centuries ago.
Day #6 - Dubrovnik – Peljesac - Split
Meet with your driver for a private transfer from Dubrovnik to Split with en route stop in the town of Mali Ston, home to Croatia’s most delicious oysters, carefully grown in beds throughout the bay. A local oysterman will harvest them right out of the sea for you to enjoy on the spot! After enjoying oysters, your driver will take you further down the Pelješac peninsula to visit two of the local wineries! Final drive to Split, check into your hotel. Refresh and relax, overnight in Split!
Day #7 - Split
You’ll start your food adventure by visiting Green market, you’ll have a chance to taste local specialty “macaroni” – handmade pasta and fresh seafood. During the next part of the tour you will visit a small shop where you will taste traditional peasant pie “soparnik” and tour concludes in the oldest pastry shop in Split, where you will taste traditional pastries and gelato. Rest assured, you will enjoy this food & walk culinary tour with best highlights of Split and its delights! Free afternoon and overnight in Split!
Day #8 - Split – Brac – Split
Breakfast at hotel. Fast ferry to island of Brac arranged (return). Croatia has more than 1000+ islands, and you’ll have a chance to explore the largest one in Dalmatia! Brac is famous for its beautiful beaches and limestone. The White House in Washington, D.C, the Hofburg in Vienna and the Diocletian Palace in Split are all built with this special stone! Brač is also known for its olive oil and wines.
Day #9 - Split – Krka NP – Sibenik - Split
Meet your driver & guide for a private excursion from Split to Krka NP & Bibich Winery tour accompanied by your guide. Explore the waterfalls of Krka NP by wooden walkway accompanied by your guide. Enjoy the fresh air, wild nature and visit NP Krka’s ethno museum, small stone houses and an old watermill or the first hydroelectric power station in Europe. After Krka Tour, we’ll head to Bibich Winery for an exclusive tasting menu with 7 courses accompanied by tasting of wines perfectly paired to go with each dish. Creative courses made from local ingredients by their chef Vesna.
Day #10 - Split
Breakfast at hotel and check out! Sadly, it is time to say goodbye. Your transfer to Split Airport is arranged! Bon Voyage and thank you!
